Why the wait
We already prescribe peptides — where the evidence is strong
In fact, some of the medications SensibleDoc already prescribes are peptides: the GLP-1/GIP medications in our live weight-loss program are peptide drugs, backed by large clinical trials and prescribed by a licensed physician after an individual evaluation. This page is about the broader wellness-peptide category — therapies like NAD+ and sermorelin — where the evidence and regulatory picture is far less settled.
That is the reason SensibleDoc has not launched its dedicated peptide program yet.
We are building one the same way we built everything else here. A licensed physician evaluates you individually and decides whether a therapy is clinically appropriate for you. Anything prescribed is dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy. Pricing is near cost, like every other program on the platform. And we will offer a given therapy only when its evidence and regulatory status justify putting a physician's name behind it.
If that takes longer than the rest of the market, so be it. You are buying a medical practice, not a supplement catalog.

NAD+
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in every living cell and involved in cellular metabolism. Injectable NAD+ is available only as a compounded preparation, which is not FDA-approved, and the clinical evidence for wellness use is limited and still developing.

Sermorelin
Sermorelin is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that prompts the pituitary to release the body’s own growth hormone. An approved sermorelin product existed decades ago and was later discontinued; today it is available only as a compounded preparation, which is not FDA-approved.

When will the peptide program launch?

Can I get peptides from SensibleDoc today?
Not from the wellness-peptide program — it hasn’t launched. But GLP-1/GIP weight-loss therapy (itself a peptide medication) is live today, along with sexual health and hair restoration.
Are peptides FDA-approved?
Some peptide drugs are FDA-approved medications. Many wellness peptides sold online are not. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A licensed physician can discuss whether an FDA-approved or compounded medication is appropriate for you.
How will it be priced?
The same model as every live SensibleDoc program: the $59/mo membership covers physician care, and medication is billed separately at near-cost. Specific pricing will be published when a therapy launches.
Will I need labs?
Where clinically indicated, yes. Baseline and follow-up labs will be part of protocols when the program opens.
Who won’t be eligible?
Screening will exclude patients for whom a therapy isn’t appropriate — for example, active malignancy for growth-hormone-axis therapies, or pregnancy. A licensed physician makes that determination individually.
